Working Mobile Home Fire in East Nottingham

At around 2150 hrs Thursday evening, the Union Fire company No. 1 along with mutual aide partners were dispatched to a reported Mobile Home fire on Circle Dr in East Nottingham Township. Chief 21 (Booth) and Deputy 21 (Meadowcroft) responded shortly after dispatch. Deputy 21 was first to arrive reporting heavy fire into the Mobile Home, with an exposure issue to others.

Engine 21-1 (Cap. Slauch) arrived as The First Due Engine and Layed a supply line from the intersection of Circle Dr and Baltimore Pike into the scene. The crew deployed two, 200’ 1.75” attack lines and began fire suppression.

Ladder 21 (Cap. Kane) arrived as the First Due Special and completed primary searches of the home, as well as deployed an additional 1.75" attack line.

Engine 21-2 (LT. Testa) arrived as the Second Due Engine and supplied water to Engine 21-1.

Crews from the Community fire company of Rising Sun (8) The West Grove fire company (22) and the Cochranville fire company (27) assisted with overhaul and fire suppression.


Chief 21(Booth) held the Circle Drive Command while Deputy 21(Meadowcroft) held the operations for the duration of the incident

All units were clear of the scene around 0100 hrs
