Working House Fire in Lancaster County

Station 57 Box Alarm

On Friday afternoon, The Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for an Engine, the Tanker and an Ambulance to assist the Quarryville Fire Company on a House Fire in the 300 Block of Sproul Rd in Colerain Township.

Engine 574 was the first to arrive, with the crew finding a basement fire extending into the first floor. Crews deployed multiple handlines, as Truck 57 arrived as the First Due Truck.

The Working Fire Dispatch was requested, which added another Engine from Oxford, along with multiple other departments from Lancaster and Chester Counties.

Crew members from Station 21 went interior to assist with fire attack and overhaul on all divisions, while Tanker 21 supplied water to the scene.

The 21 units were back in quarters in just over 2 hours.
