On Sunday Morning, the Union Fire Company No.1 was alerted for an Engine to assist the Cochranville Fire Company on a House Fire in the 300 Block of White Horse Rd in Londonderry Twp. Initial reports were for a possible shed on fire attached to the House.

Assistant 27 arrived on scene and requested the Working Fire Dispatch, reporting that the attached Garage was on fire.

Engine 27-2 was the first piece of apparatus to arrive, with multiple handlines being stretched to attack the fire. The Tanker Task Force was soon requested, which added Tanker 21 and other tankers in Southern Chester County.

Ladder 22 arrived and pulled in the driveway, putting their main to the roof if needed, as the arriving Tankers prepared to supply the scene.

Engine 21-2 made the response with a crew of 4 and arrived on scene as the 4th due Engine. The crew was quickly put to work in the second floor of the house to assist with opening up any void spaces to check for extension.

The company was in service at this incident for just over an hour.

While we were out, Rescue 21 handled an Auto Accident in West Nottingham township.
