EMTs Recognized for Clinical Excellence

Today we were joined by Penn Medicine, Lancaster General Health, Manager of Acute Neurosciences Tracey Mousley and EMS Manager Andrew Rennie to present our EMS crew with “brain pins” for exceptional pre-hospital stroke care.

EMT Nicole Thoman, EMT Erin Barlow, and EMT Cassidy Brown were recognized for their quick actions and clinical judgment and, without a doubt, making a positive impact on a stroke patient's outcome and recovery.

We are proud of our EMS crews and appreciative of Lancaster General Hospital for recognizing them.

This trio of professionals responded to our 911 call when my husband suffered a stroke just weeks ago. What a blessing it was that we got this crew that day. They jumped into action and insisted he go to LGH Stroke Center which made ALL the difference in his complete recovery. Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough. God bless you all!
