First thing Monday morning, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for an Auto Accident on Baltimore Pike just north of Kimble Road in the Forestville section of Upper Oxford Township.
Responding units were advised of a four vehicle accident blocking the roadway.
Safety 21 (Davis) was first to arrive, confirming the report. The Ambulance crew attended to one patient, while Rescue 21 arrived and secured the hazards.
Additional Fire Police were requested to shut down Baltimore Pike between Kimble Road and Route 896. Fortunately, there were no additional injuries despite the heavy damage sustained to the vehicles involved.
All 21 Units cleared in less than an hour.
