Just before 7:00 pm, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident on Limestone Road in the area of Boyds Lane in Lower Oxford township.
Chief 21 was first to arrive with a two vehicle accident with one work van overturned. Rescue 21 was the next unit to arrive, shortly followed by Engine 21-4. The crews assesed the vehicles and checked for hazards. Station 22 EMS arrived and transported one patient for minor injuries.
21 units remained on scene to assist with directing traffic while Chew's Towing secured the overturned vehicle.
