On Friday evening, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for a vehicle fire at Lewisville Rd and Kings Row Rd in Elk Township.
The initial report was for an SUV with flames under the hood. 21-30 went on the scene with a vehicle well off, with Chief 21 arriving a short time later.
Engine 21-2 arrived, with the crew deploying the front bumper line and extinguishing the fire.
Engine 21-1 and Engine 21-4 arrived with their crews assisting with cleanup.
The three Engines were clear of the scene in about 30 minutes.
