Early Thursday Morning, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for an Engine to assist the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun (Cecil Station 8) on a House Fire in the 100 Block of Barnes Corner Rd in Cecil County, MD.
Engine 21-2 and Engine 21-4 made the response with a combined staffing of 9 Firefighters.
Cecil 8 crews arrived with Fire Showing and requested the Working Fire Dispatch, adding additional resources. The crew of first in Engine 812 stretched a handline to extinguish the fire with other arriving crews assisting with search and fire attack.
The two Engines from Oxford arrived and assisted with various fireground tasks before returning around 6am.
