Box 2102

Just after 4pm Monday afternoon, the Union Fire Company No. 1, the Cochranville Fire Company, Lancaster Tanker 51, and Lancaster Truck and Rescue 57 were dispatched to the 100 Block of Jackson School Rd in Lower Oxford Township for the House Fire.

Chief 21 (Kinsey) was the first to arrive with smoke showing from the eaves and requested the Working Fire Dispatch.

Engine 21-1 (Lt Kane) arrived and laid a supply line from the intersection of Jackson School and Street Rd. The crew advanced an attack line to the basement, where they found fire in the ceiling above them.

Tanker 21 arrived and picked up the supply line to the scene, with Engine 27-2 taking the second due engine assignment and their crew working in the first floor of the dwelling.

Engine 21-4 (FF Testa) arrived and worked with the crew from 27, as Deputy 21 (Poole) took the role of Division 1 officer.

Rescue 21 (FF Groseclose) arrived as the First Due Special, with the crew throwing ground ladders and assisting with search.

Lancaster Rescue 57 established the Rapid Intervention Team, with Truck 57 soon being released to respond to another call in Lancaster County.

All units were clear of the scene in just under 2 hours.

**Special thanks to Cecil Engine 813 and Tanker 23 for standing by at Station 21 during the incident.
