At approximately 5:00pm on Saturday the 22nd, Station 21 was alerted to a farm equipment fire on Spring Valley Road in Upper Oxford.
Engine 21-2 and Tanker 21 made the response with two Fire Police units. Tanker 27 was also alerted for support.On arrival, Engine 21-2 crew observed the heavy tractor fully involved with a hay bailer attached.
The Engine crew deployed the 300' attack line and extend the line by 50' to ensure enough line to extinguish the fire.
The crew was able to control the fire in under 8 minutes from the time they arrived on scene.
