| At approximately 3:37pm on Easter Sunday, Station 21 was alerted to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Christine Rd and Barnsley Road.
Deputy 21, Assistant 21, Rescue 21 and Ambulance 21-1 made the quick response. Deputy 21(Meadowcroft) was first on scene took command, and confirmed 2 vehicles involved with one patient entrapped.
Rescue 21 (Lt. Bennett) arrived and immediately stabilized the vehicle and used extrication tools to removed the passenger side door. Within minutes the door was removed and the patient was safely extricated.
Multiple patients were transported by AMB211 and AMB221 to local hospitals.
The scene was turned over to multiple 21 Fire Police units and Pennsylvania State Police. |
