Working Barn Fire in Colerain Township

On Wednesday, July 5th, at 1539 hours, The Union Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched to assist the Bart Township Fire Company (Lancaster County Station 51), on a Barn Fire on Bell Road in Colerain Township, Lancaster County.

First arriving units from Bart reported a Large Equipment Barn well involved, and requested the Tanker Task Force.

Ladder 21 (Captain Kane) responded immediately upon dispatch and arrived as the First Due Truck, positioned at the top of the driveway, and began flowing water utilizing the Ariel Master Stream device.
Engine 21-1 (LT. Bennett) and Tanker 21 (Captain Kelley) also Responded. Tanker 21 shuttled multiple loads of water from the fill site to the fire scene.

All 21 units were clear of the scene by 1745 hrs.
