At approximately 1515 hours the Union Fire Company No 1 along with mutual aide units were dispatched to the 300 block of Broad Street in Oxford Borough for a reported house fire.
Engine 21-1 (FF Kern) responded shortly after dispatch. Engine 21-1 laid a 5” supply line from the hydrant at the intersection of Broad St and S 4th St and arrived to find a 2 story multiple occupancy dwelling with nothing showing from the front. The crew stretched a 200’ 1.75” hose line to the entrance of the dwelling. crews made entry and found the floor in the bathroom smoldering and checked for extension inside the walls and floor. After confirming that no fire had extended through the dwelling, the incident was held to station 21 units.
